Yoga Teacher Training at Chi-Town Shakti
200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
January 2025 - A phenomenal and transformative way to begin the New Year!
Our 200 Hour Yoga Immersion + Teacher Training program is for anyone interested in pursuing a deeper connection and understanding of yoga practice and philosophy. If you hope to teach, this program will thoroughly prepare you to feel confident in sharing your love of yoga with others in a meaningful and safe way. If you have no intention of teaching, our 200 hour program will also provide you with a unique way to delve more deeply into yoga lifestyle and provide you with the tools to uplift your own home practice - knowing that you are serving your deep desire to grow as a practitioner and challenging yourself as your own "teacher". All of our trainings are registered with the Yoga Alliance.
Our 5-month immersion program allows you to be engaged in school or work during the week, while you complete training hours mainly on the weekends. Support will be given for maintaining a home practice of yoga and meditation throughout the week and you will also be allowed unlimited access to Chi-Town Shakti Yoga and Meditation classes between the first day of training through July 2025. We offer workshops and special events you are welcome to attend as well. In this way, you can make the experience your own. Dive in as much as you like and receive ongoing support from your instructors, even beyond the end of training. We wish to support you in your success as a practitioner and teacher through ongoing trainings, meditations, communications and community meetups.
**This training will be held in-person, in-studio (with some potential supplemental online content).

"Teacher Training at Chi-Town Shakti was such a special experience and absolutely transformative for all aspects of my life. I began TT very unsure about the prospect of teaching yoga and left confident and excited to share yoga with others. TT gave me a new and much more expansive understanding of yoga and of my practice. I learned how to better deal with stress and how to experience my practice far beyond the four corners of my mat. I am so grateful to the Chi-Town Shakti Community."

Whether your goal is to teach or just seek a deeper understanding of the practice for personal edification, I highly recommend going through the process. The training not only teaches the asanas in a safe and accessible way but also the history of the practice. I loved my experience at Chi-Town Shakti and can't imagine a better training."
