Have you ever found yourself waking frequently between 1 and 3 am during a period of heightened stress in your life? Or have you noticed that illness quickly follows a long period of grief or worry? Perhaps you've experienced a string of seemingly endless emotions during meditation, like you’re flipping through TV channels, from happy to sad, worry to shame, peacefulness to anger?
In this 90 min minute workshop, we will explore:
· What is the role of emotions in the human experience?
· How are emotions and disease interrelated according to Chinese Medicine?
· What acupressure points help with strong emotions?
· How can we build the inner capacity to be with a wider range of emotions?
You will leave with a foundational understanding of the link between our emotions and physical bodies from a Chinese medical perspective. There will be a hands-on exploration of acupressure points to use with different emotions. We will finish with a guided meditation to increase our capacity to be with a wider range of emotions and arrive fully in our lives.
