3 Consecutive Saturday Mornings
May 8th, 15th and 22nd from 930 to 11 am
Starting a yoga practice can feel intimidating with the strange names of poses, coordinating breath and movement, and feeling like others know more than you...but here at Chi-Town Shakti, we welcome newbies to the practice with our In-Person, In-Studio Intro to Yoga Series!
Join Sarah for 3 consecutive weeks to break down what occurs in a yoga class and what to expect when beginning or fostering a commitment to a regular yoga practice!
In this workshop-style class, we will explain the physical postures to help you understand your own alignment, work with understanding how the breath moves in the body, and begin to delve into a meditation practice to help calm the thought waves of the mind. Students are encouraged to ask questions, take notes on the provided PDF, or ask for specific help with certain concepts. You will leave this experience feeling confident to join a yoga class virtually or in-person, knowing what to expect and what you can do to help yourself feel most comfortable during class. Whether this is your first time ever taking yoga or you want a refresher, Intro to Yoga and Meditation is the class for you!
Pre-Registration Required. Limited to 5 participants.
$50 (Reduced Price!)
