In this class, we will synthesize the key elements of Vedic Astrology (the meanings of the planets, signs, houses, aspects etc.) as we enter into interpreting a birth chart.
Some new material, such as planetary periods will be presented to continue to add depth of meaning to our interpretations. And we will continue to go deeper into our understanding of the planets, signs, etc.
We will look at the charts of well-known people as well as our own charts.

BIO:
Lakshman has been doing Vedic Astrology since 1994 and has had a personal meditation practice for over 42 years. His main goal in teaching astrology and in doing readings is to help people see the energies at play in their lives so that they can more consciously live their lives on the worldly and practical level and grow as spiritual beings as well.
Lakshman very much wants to share the knowledge he has gained over the years and be of service to those who want to learn the art and science of Vedic Astrology. He has a very wide range of life experiences which aid in his ability to relate to people's lives and experiences.
Lately, he has been following a strong interest in learning about the Goddesses that represent each of the lunar days in the Hindu calendar. The particular lunar day that we were born on can show us a lot about our very basic emotional and mental responses to our lives and the ways in which we naturally want to live our lives. These feminine forms represent the divine Shakti in her many manifestations that can ultimately lead us to the realization of the divine Shiva, or our own Inner Selves.
